Mother's Day Music Video

I am SO lucky to have a great mother-in-law. Tami, you definitely raised your sons right :) I hope you love this video! I shot this today, and boy was it hilarious. A lot of the lines are family jokes, but it's still funny nonetheless.

We love you Tami Sue!

Word to my Motha

Since Mom's Day is coming up I decided to give a shout out to my mom.
Here are some fun facts about why I LOVE my mama and pictures to go with them!

Julee and me about to go shopping! Our favorite hobby!

We literally drank 25 pina coladas on our cruise to Mexico. The biggest bill at the end of the cruise was from our drinks! We will definitely repeat this trend at our family reunion in Cozumel this summer.

She takes care of the missionaries like they're her own sons. She cooks dinner for them EVERY Sunday!

Julee likes to drop it like it's hot.

If air hockey was a sport, she would go pro.

Her food is THEE best.

Julee (besides Matt) is the most ticklish person I know.

She made me go on scary roller coasters at the age of 4. She taught me how to stand on my tippy toes when they measured me to get on the rides. We had season passes to Astro World like very year!

Julee was a blush diva back in the day! Look at that shirt ooo wee!

We LOVE soft blankets.

She is a gangsta. We LOVE YOU CHULEE! Thanks for being the best mom on planet earth.
I hope you love your gifts!!

And here's two videos taken at my house in Texas.
They will make you laugh. As you can see on the video on the right Devon LOVES to have his picture taken. I miss my fam so so much!

This one's for you, Dave

Chicken and steak off the grill is my favorite thing ever. I rarely eat it because Dave isn't here to cook it for me. So I bought a little grill, put it together, and last night we had excellent shishkabobs. You need to make these TOMORROW for dinner! Plus if you grill for ya man, he will loveee you.

We used a combo of meat, mushrooms, cucumbers (these were accidentally purchased, I thought they were zucchini), bell peppers, and pineapple.

Tips for newbie grillers like myself courtesy of this lovely guy, Dave!

-Marinate your chicken/steak overnight in a bag ful of Italian dressing
-Soak the shishkabob skewers overnight in water so they don't burn.
-Buy "Match Light" charcoal. It already has lighter fluid on it so it stays lit.
-Allow your charcoal to burn for 30 minutes until all the pieces are gray in color before putting the meat on.
-Pour the pineapple juice over your kabobs for a yummy flava.

Charcoal grill: $29 Wal-Mart

We wanted to eat them outside, but as you can see, it's still freezing here. UGH!

Murph's boyfriend, Harley. They play nonstop.

Epic

We had our friends/family over this weekend. After throwing around game after (Farming) game to play once we ate our delicious (tootin own horn) homemade chicken noodle soup over mashed potatoes topped with cheese dinner, we remembered that we have a pool table in the basement and decided to have a pool tourney.

A bracket and rankings were made. It was legit.

At the beginning of the tourney, Bryan said, "I know I'm just going to win this by everyone scratching." Yes, that's precisely what happened. Literally all of us scratched on the 8 ball and Bryan was crowned victor.

I have to say that the most frequent quote of the night was, "MONICA, you're not even looking at the ball!!"-Bryan

The champ with his bracket and wife and Justin Beiber.

Victory dance.

SUCH a strange photo. Look at Mikey and me, then look at all the chaos in the background. LOL.

On Saturday, we went to Chili's with these lovely peeps. Then we got Cold Stone, and snuck it into the movie, "Source Code." None of us were sure quite how it ended, but I guess it was a good movie?

Really?

So, I couldn't force myself out of bed at 2am to watch the Royal Wedding LIVE, but I am watching now at 7am which is earllyy enough!

I woke up to this...I'm thoroughly convinced Spring just isn't going to happen for Idaho this year.

Didn't the groundhog see its shadow this year?!

Craigs List

CL's is amazing first and foremost.

If you didn't know, we recently moved into Matt's parent's old house in Rigby (15 minutes away from BYU-I). When we moved in we quickly realized we had nothing to fill an actual house. These were the essentials that needed purchasing ASAP:

-Washer & dryer
-Bed
-Couches
-Kitchen table/Chairs

Being the bargain hunter my mama taught me to be, I looked to Craigs List. My goal was to spend less than $1,000 on everything. Call my Ty Pennington, because I beat my goal by $190!

Here's a few pictures of the gems we scored via Craig's List.

Only the mattress is from CL's. I was a little sketched out by buying a mattress used, but they used a protective covering and it looked very clean.

Those chairs are ghettooo. Probably my only shopping regret.

I know Matt is going to hate me for putting another sleeping picture on here, but isn't this hilarious??

Be a Doll

I just added a Facebook gadget thingy for my photography page on the sidebar. if you could "Like" my photography page, that would be awesome!

Did you see Lady Gaga, J. Timberlake, and Mila Kunis on Ellen today? Such a fun episode. LOVE Ellen!

Matt just mighttt make fun of me for watching the Royal Wedding at 2:00 am tonight.
