Devonator/Debbie Sally!

I really miss this kid. When I think about going home to Texas one of the first things I think about is tickling and playing with Devon. This is one of my favorite stories about him. A few weeks ago Devon had a basketball game. Apparently, he really wanted Michael (uncle) to come to it, but Michael had to go to Granny's. Devon asked my mom this question after he realized Michael wouldn't be able to make it. He said something like this, "It's okay if someone you care and love with all your heart can't come to your basketball game, because they will try to come next time , right?" AWW Devon!!!! You are a terror more than 75% of the time, but we all love you!

I got this picture from Edy's blog, and this picture explains Devon perfectly.

Wedding pictures!

The first 30 or so pictures were taken at our reception in Houston. They had to get fixed at a photo lab, or else I would have posted them sooner. There's still one more CD that the photographer is mailing me with more family pictures. When it comes, I will post those pictures, too. The last 15 were taken in Idaho.

My uncle, Joe made our wedding cake for us. The details were AMAZING! It not only looked beautiful, it was soooo yummy! Thanks, Joe!

Our first apartment/house

Matt and I live in a VERY old house that was converted into a tri-plex. Two other couples live above and below us. Our apartment has two bedrooms and one small bathroom. We really love this place! It is so nice having an extra bedroom just to store things like: food, clothes, laundry, furniture, etc. From these pictures it looks really small, but it is actually way bigger than most apartments here in Rexburg. We don't have to pay for utilities which is such a good deal because the winter season lasts about 5 months, and it would cost a lot to heat this place! Most of the stuff we used to decorate is from Target! We love having our friends over to play games (Settlers of Catan, Risk, or cards) and watch our favorite TV shows (The Office and America's Best Dance Crew)

The TV my dad bought us for our wedding gift.

Another view of our room. Granny bought us the red lamp in the corner.

The view of the living room from the front door.

Our bathroom. I've never lived in a house with such a small bathroom.

My mom, and Matt's mom, Tami bought us this painting for a weeding gift. It is called, "The Worth of a Soul." It's a picture of Christ holding a baby from Africa. The artist was inspired after taking a trip to Africa to paint this. My camera does NOT give the painting justice, so below this picture is another picture of how it really looks.

I love this picture so much.

This is a picture of the Rexburg, Idaho temple that Matt and I bought with some wedding money.

These are the stairs that lead to our front door. They are SO slippery and steep, so we always use the back door.

I hope you enjoyed looking at our house!
